Preparing for your Studio M journey

We have carefully curated a series of preparation materials that will ensure you’ve considered all facets of your new home. This will ensure you are prepared to finalise your selections on your appointment days. Once you reach your Studio M selections stage, you will receive an email containing links to these materials. You can also begin preparation prior by visiting the Preparing for your Studio M Journey page on our website.

We have a range of appointments available to you, which our bookings team will discuss in more detail when they contact you.

As multiple appointments are scheduled throughout the day, we kindly request that you adhere to our capacity limitations by limiting attendance to a maximum of four individuals per appointment (including children). Please note that we have a dedicated play area to ensure children are entertained during your visit.

We suggest allocating a full day for your Colour appointment. Your Electrical appointment will take place on a separate day and typically lasts about three hours. The duration of appointments may vary based on the size of your chosen home and the extent of preparation completed beforehand.

We have the display colour schedules available for all our Metricon display homes. Please ask your Design Consultant and they will be able to assist you. We are also able to reference the display home colours during your selection appointments, should you wish to replicate any of the colours in your home.

A ‘standard inclusion’ refers to product that is automatically included as part of your chosen home design. This includes internal and external colours, fittings, fixtures and appliances. Please refer to the Studio M Selections Guide where standard inclusions are indicated by a grey background, with an orange box for Freedom by Metricon inclusions and a black box for Designer by Metricon inclusions.

Our Studio M Price Guide offers approximate costings for the products available for your selection. Use it in conjunction with the Studio M Selections Guide to begin planning your budget for upcoming appointments. Your Design Consultant can also assist in prioritising where to allocate your budget and offer alternative options for similar products that fit within your budget constraints.

Ample parking is available for our customers in the dedicated visitor area of the Metricon head office car park. Additionally, there is convenient access to public transportation nearby.

We provide you with refreshments throughout your Studio M appointments as well as tea, coffee, and water.

At the conclusion of your Studio M Colour and Electrical appointments, you will need to sign off on your chosen selections. You will then have 48 hours before your file is complete and processed onto the next stage of your build with Metricon.
