About the series
‘The DualOcc Diaries’ is an eight-part series following the build journey of Metricon customers Shane and Bridget Yole. Shane and Bridget’s journey with Metricon began in 2009, when they embarked on a Knockdown New Build project for their family home. Fast forward to 2018, where they have just wrapped up their 3rd build with Metricon – A DualOcc by Metricon development – from which the ‘The DualOcc Diaries’ was born.

‘The DualOcc Diaries' follows Shane and Bridget's journey from their initial consultation, right through to the auction of their development.
Their experience begins as they meet with their Metricon Sales Consultant Anthony Pisani, where they discuss their site assessment and build options. After realising the potential of their block as an investment opportunity, Shane and Bridget decide to build a Metricon DualOcc by Metricon development.
Their journey continues at the Metricon’s Head Office where they finalise the details of their preliminary contract and submit their plans to council as part of the town planning process.
After completing all the necessary paperwork, Shane and Bridget are then ready to head into Metricon's Studio M Selection Centre where they enter the most exciting part of their journey – making their home colour, electrical and fitting selections.
Following the Studio M selection process, their DualOcc by Metricon development is ready to move to site – entering the 'Framing Stage'. Now beginning to take shape, Shane and Bridget meet with their Metricon Site Manager, John Tarquinio, to assess the progress of the build. This process involves checking up on both the external façade and internal design elements.
As handover day arrives, Shane and Bridget receive the keys to their amazing DualOcc by Metricon Development and are able to view the final product.
The series finale follows the auction of the newly completed property – where we get to watch on and view the exciting result!
