What is changing, however, is from July 1, 2024, new federal health and safety laws will ban engineered stone options to protect workers' health, following a rise in silicosis diagnoses among those working with these materials.
The good news is that these new regulations do not affect finishes like Cosentino’s Dekton porcelain, or Zenith Surfaces, the zero crystalline silica range from our new supplier partner, Stone Ambassador. We also continue to offer a broad range of affordable and stylish laminate options.
