Display homes for sale – why you’ll love to invest in one

Metricon

Each year, we welcome thousands of families, couples and investors through the grand doors of display homes throughout VIC, NSW, QLD and SA. It’s not uncommon to hear many ‘oohs and ahhs’ as people experience our displays for themselves, with some even asking: “Can’t we just buy this home?
We love to answer: “Yes, you can.”

Acquiring a beautiful home isn’t the only benefit to investing in one of our displays. From a generous leaseback agreement (with a no-fuss tenant) to owning a beautiful home in a prime location, there’s a lot to love – here are some of the benefits you’ll get to enjoy.

We save you the hassle of finding the right tenant

Finding the right tenant for your investment property can be tricky. We help you take care of that, removing the need for you to have to hunt for the right tenant and any other complications that can come with renters. You have a guaranteed, high-quality tenant - us! With the benefit of a generous leaseback agreement for the duration of the lease, which is decided in advance, so you know exactly what to expect and when to expect it.

As your tenant, we don’t throw any parties, pay the rent on time, won’t disrupt the neighbours and hardly use the appliances (if at all). We’ll take the utmost care of your property, and your home will be regularly cleaned by professionals.

Home designs built to turn heads

Display homes are, by their very nature, a showcase of the latest and greatest in new and fresh designs and inclusions, that showcase the very best we have to offer. As such, we don’t hold back on premium fittings, fixtures and features. We carry this approach through to the landscaping, which adds even more liveability and street appeal to the home.

Location, location, location

Before the slab is poured, we scope out a premiere piece of land (often a generous size block) in the right location. Whether it’s in the prime spot of an exclusive estate, a sought-after street in a growing suburb or in a peak knock down rebuild established inner suburb, you can be sure we’ve done our research. That said, there’s more to building a display home than picking the right parcel of land – we also consider what amenities are close by, the streetscape and connectivity to major roads and transport hubs before starting construction.

Maintenance is on us

Normally, when you’re renting out a home, maintenance costs come out of your pocket. But that’s not the case when you buy a Metricon display home. While we lease the property from you, we take care of any maintenance that’s required (using our preferred suppliers). At the end of the day, we want your investment to look as good as possible for the duration of the leaseback agreement. What’s more, you can still claim depreciation on the home – it’s a great deal you don’t often find with other investment properties.

Tough decisions made easy
From the façade and floorplan to fittings, fixture, interior design and more, there’s a lot to consider when building your home. But a display home takes all the hard work out of the equation. Our talented designers and interior experts have done all the heavy lifting for you, so you don’t need to spend countless hours researching trends and making selections, nor do you need to track the build and liaise with site managers. With the home already completed, you can focus on enjoying the spoils of your investment with a view to one day moving into a home you’ll love to live in.
