While we love sharing stories of our customers enjoying the spoils of their new Metricon homes, the process and journey of building, especially when it’s for the first time, is rich with insights and pointers well worth sharing too.
With this in mind, we caught up with first home buyers Lynnette and Mark (and their site manager) on the site of their home build for a tour of their soon to be completed HomeSolution by Metricon home – watch their story here.
After settling in Australia from the USA, executive assistant Lynette Riddell felt she’d been stuck in the rental battle for far too long. Her husband Mark, who works in engineering, was on the same page. Although the couple agreed it was time to buy their first home, they were also mindful of their budget.

With their first home nearing completion, Lynette and Mark are counting down the days to handover and when they can enjoy their new home and its many features, including an outdoor entertaining area with ample space for a pool, which they plan to install not long after moving in.
