Metricon is excited to announce its partnership with Sumitomo Forestry Australia (Sumitomo Forestry), a subsidiary of the renowned Japanese group. This strategic partnership will see Sumitomo Forestry acquiring 51% of Metricon, post completion of conditions while also providing a pathway for 100% ownership after a number of years.

Metricon, Australia’s largest home builder, has been awarded a landmark contract to construct 483 affordable homes across Queensland. This project will be supported by the Queensland Government’s $2 billion Housing Investment Fund which aims to commence 5,600 social and affordable homes by 30 June 2027.
